NSWMA is a trade association representing for-profit companies in North America that provide solid, hazardous and medical waste collection, recycling and disposal services, and companies that provide professional and consulting services to the waste services industry. NSWMA is a full service trade association, with close ties to its members. It is directed by a Board of Governors, elected from the membership, which establishes policy and oversees its professional staff.
Cal Western Circulation Managers’ Association includes the states of California, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah. The object of the Association is the mutual enlightenment of members and the furtherance of the best interests of the circulation departments of the newspapers with which they are connected.
ACA International, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, is the comprehensive, knowledge-based resource for success in the credit and collection industry. Founded in 1939, ACA brings together more than 5,000 members worldwide, including third-party collection agencies, asset buyers, attorneys, creditors and vendor affiliates. The association establishes ethical standards; produces a wide variety of products, services and publications; and articulates the value of the credit and collection industry to businesses, policymakers and consumers.
Since 1917, the California Association of Collectors has served and protected the interests of the collection industry. CAC is pledged to promote, stimulate, increase and improve the educational, social, economic, and ethical welfare of the California collection industry and the public which it serves; and to apply the collective knowledge and experience of its members toward maintaining an ethical standard of collection service. The organization has the power and expertise to resolve the issues that confront the industry. Our strength is in numbers and only with the combined efforts of all collection agencies can we be most effective.
SCMSDC (Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc.), an affiliate regional council of NMSDC (National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc.), is the largest nonprofit minority business advocacy organization in Southern California, serving nearly 1,700 minority business enterprises and 200 corporate members throughout 13 counties. SCMSDC seeks to support and develop minority owned businesses.
